What's collected

Two things, and nothing else:

• Site analytics. Every page uses Google Analytics (GA4) to record standard usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device type, how you arrived at the site. This is aggregate, not used to identify you personally.
• Newsletter email address. If you subscribe to The ProfessorN.in Daily, your email address is stored to send it. Nothing is sent until you confirm via the link in a confirmation email (double opt-in) — subscribing doesn't add you to the list by itself.

No account is required to read the site. No payment information is collected anywhere on ProfessorN.in.

Who this data is shared with

It isn't sold or shared for advertising. It passes through the services that make the site work:

• Google Analytics — processes the usage data above.
• Resend — delivers the confirmation email and the daily newsletter to subscribers.
• Google Cloud Firestore — stores subscriber records and site content.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visits. No advertising or tracking cookies beyond that are used on this site.

Your choices

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link — one click removes you immediately. To ask about or delete data associated with your email address, write to Editor@professorn.in.
